Slider digital inputs
A slider digital input has a slider that alters the level of voltage supplied. It can be used as a digital or analogue part:
- As a digital input, the sensor has a threshold range of 0 - 100%. If the slider is set below the threshold level, the sensor is set to
logic 0. If the slider is equal to or above the threshold level it is set to logic 1.
- As an analogue input, the voltage provided by the part changes proportionally between logic 0 and logic 1 as the slider is moved from bottom
to top.
A slider input part may have its own real-life context image. For example, the slider on the Light sensor part may be used
to control to what extent the sun is obscured by clouds.
